“COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE PLAN”

LIMITED REOPENING 6/1/2020

Temporary Reduced Hours 
We will temporarily have the following reduced hours:

• Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm
• Sunday 10am-5pm

First and foremost, we want you to know that we are committed to reducing the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and we are ready to provide a healthy and safe workplace for our employees, customers and guests.

******IF YOU HAVE FEVER, COUGH, SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR IF YOU HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE YOU MAY HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS FOR ANY REASON….PLEASE DO NOT ENTER OUR STORE. RETURN TO YOUR VEHICLE AND CALL YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER.******

Our plan is based on information and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) at the time of its development. Because the COVID-19 situation is frequently changing, the need for modifications may occur based on further guidance provided by the CDC, OSHA, and other public officials at the state or local levels.

“OUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROTOCOLS FOR REOPENING”

→VIP TANNING OXFRD IS NOW OPERATING ON A CHECK-IN SYSTEM FOR ALL OF OUR SERVICES. IF YOUR PRIVATE ROOM IS NOT AVAILABLE SIMPLY CHECK INTO OUR KIOSK AND WE WILL TEXT YOU WHEN YOUR ROOM BECOMES AVAILABLE.

ONLY 3 GUESTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE LOBBY AT A TIME. PLEASE PRACTICE 6 FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING.

→ Provide non-medical grade face coverings to our employees.

→ Require face coverings to be worn when employees cannot consistently maintain six feet of separation from other individuals in the workplace, and consider face shields when employees cannot consistently maintain three feet of separation from other individuals in the workplace.

→ Make cleaning supplies available to employees upon entry and at the worksite and provide time for employees to wash hands frequently or to use hand sanitizer.

→ Increase facility cleaning and disinfection to limit exposure to COVID-19, especially on high- touch surfaces (e.g., door handles), paying special attention to parts, products, and equipment.

→ Conduct a daily entry self-screening protocol for all employees or contractors entering the workplace, including, at a minimum, a questionnaire covering symptoms and suspected or confirmed exposure to people with possible COVID-19.

→If an employee is identified with a confirmed case of COVID-19, within 24 hours, notify both:

  1. The local public health department, and
  2. Any co-workers, client, contractors, or suppliers who may have come into contact with the person with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

→ Adopt protocols to clean and disinfect the facility in the event of a positive COVID-19 case in the workplace.

→ Establish an enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocol for high-touch areas like restrooms, credit-card machines, keypads, counters, and other surfaces.

» Install physical barriers at checkout or other service points that require interaction, including plexiglass barriers.

» Post signs at store entrance(s) informing customers not to enter if they are or have recently been sick.

» Post signs at store entrance(s) instructing customers of their legal obligation to wear a face covering when inside the store.

» Appropriate new cleaning procedures, including training for cashiers on cleaning between customers.

» Post signs about the importance of personal hygiene.

» Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door knobs and handles.

»»With the “new normal” we are all getting used to, it may take us a little longer than normal to thoroughly clean and sanitize the room for you and we truly appreciate your patience.

» Alternatives to lines, including by allowing customers to wait in their cars for a text message  when their session is now ready.

WELCOME BACK VIP’s!!! We are opening Monday 6/1/2020 at 10am #viptanoxford
Boy, have we missed you!!! Our communities have all been through a lot over the last few months and I know we are all looking forward to getting our lives back and returning to our normal habits and routines that we so enjoy. While many things have changed, our commitment to our customers and staff remains the same. We are taking several precautionary measures to keep everyone safe and provide you with a clean and sanitary tanning environment.
 
A few things you may notice upon your return to
VIP Tanning Oxford are:
• Our front desks have sneeze guard installed and our waiting areas are set up for social distancing.
 
• Our staff will be subject to temperature checks upon arrival to work and will be required to wash their hands before touching anything or starting their shift.
 
• Customers will be asked to use hand sanitizer provided by us before beginning their transaction.
 
• ALL all employees will be wearing Masks.
 
• Between each customer and throughout the day we will be sanitizing and disinfecting everything you come in contact with including, but not limited to, tanning units, door handles, pens, credit card machines, stereos, volume controls, paper towel dispensers, benches etc. etc. All this is, of course, in addition to the already thorough cleanings you have come to expect from us.
 
• We are now operating on a CHECK-IN SYSTEM for all of our services if your private room is not available simply check into our kiosk and we will text you when your room becomes available.
 
• To promote social distancing, if the maximum number of 3 clients in the lobby has been reached, we will take your phone number and ask you to wait outside or in your car and TEXT you when we have a spot available for you to enter the building. PLEASE do not bring anyone with you that is not tanning as they will not be permitted to wait in the lobby.

Packages:
• If you are a VIP Smart Pay Member and were drafted 3/1-3/16, the full amount of that draft will be added to your account in pre-paid dollars. If you would like to use those pre-paid dollars to pay towards your next draft, please let us know prior to your normal draft date. Otherwise, those dollars will be left on your account to use however/whenever you chose. All drafting will resume 6/5/2020 and you will be drafted the full amount on your normal draft date. If you would like to make any changes to your account, please contact us BEFORE 6/4/2020
 
• If you have a monthly package, any time that was left on your package PLUS 7 extra days will automatically be added back on effective 6/1/2020.
We are working diligently and doing our very best to get everyone’s packages straightened out as soon as possible. I am sure we will make a few mistakes but rest assured, we will correct them. If you feel an error was made with your account, please let us know and we will get it taken care of. Nobody will lose any tan time that was left on their package prior to the shutdown.
 
With the “new normal” we are all getting used to, it may take us a little longer than normal to prepare your room for you and we truly appreciate your patience. We are so incredibly excited to get back into the salon and seeing everyone again!!!
